General Information:
Silent Line offers various sound deadening products pending on the type of structure such as:• Steel structure
• Aluminium structure
• Composite structure
Steel structures:
For steel structures we strongly recommend a sandwich sound deadening system which contains a two-component sound deadening (product A and B) along with perforated steel counter plates (perforation 10%). Application ratio 4 | 1 | 1.Common areas for application:
• Hull plating above the propulsion propellers,
• Engine and gearbox foundation,
• Hull structure forward of the engine room such as Guest and VIP areas,
• Bow thruster area,
• Engine room casings, application on accommodation side,
• Forward engine room bulkhead, application on accommodation side,
• Deck structure above engine room, application inside the accommodation.
Aluminium structures:
For aluminium structures lightweight SINGLE sound deadening systems can be used or constrained layer adhesive tiles, see product information below.Common areas for application:
• Hull plating above the propulsion propellers,
• Engine and gearbox foundation,
• Hull structure forward of the engine room such as Guest and VIP areas,
• Bow thruster area,
• Engine room casings, application on accommodation side,
• Forward engine room bulkhead, application on accommodation side,

Composite or Wooden structures:
For composite structures lightweight SINGLE sound deadening systems can be used or constrained layer adhesive tiles, see product information below.Common areas for application:
