NEW BUILD PROJECTS
Noise and Vibration Control is an important topic on board nowadays new build Yachts. Not only Mega Yachts but also series build motor and sailing Yachts.
In order to achieve Comfort Class 1 noise and vibration levels we need to enter in a very early stage of the project (Design Stage). At this stage we are able to assist you and look into what can be achieved onboard your Yacht. Normally a consultant is hired by the Yard after the contract is signed which is “too late”.
Nowadays (guaranteed by Silent Line) we are able to achieve noise levels below 35 dB(A) at anchor condition and noise levels below 45 dB(A) at transit condition on board Luxury Yachts starting from 30 meters and up.

In case you are dealing with annoying noise and or vibration problems on board your Yacht please do not hesitate to contact us. Over the years Silent Line solved many noise and vibration problems on board Luxury Yachts. Pending on the problem we perform a survey, analyze the data and prepare a comprehensive report on how to solve the problem with GUARANTEED results.
During the refit we visit your Yacht frequently (survey) in order to make sure that everything is done correctly and in accordance with our noise and vibration reports. This is required and part of Silent Line guaranty on low noise and vibration levels.
When the refit is completed we perform a second set of noise and vibration measurements indicating the outcome along with a comparison table on predicted and measured noise and vibration levels.
